You may have noticed that there's a donate button on the home page of this site. It's there as a 2 week fund raising drive to make sure all the fabulous people that keep Mepis and the Mepis Community going get some financial assistance with their efforts.
Well if you read my blog entries and happen to enjoy my ramblings, why not make a small donation to go toward the running of the site that makes it possible? I'm sure that I'll have plenty more to say.
It seems to me that this really is a sign that the Mepis Community is changing up a gear. From what was a great beginning, providing Mepis users with some really great services, there's now some real polish appearing! Not that what we had wasn't pretty darn shiny to start with!
My thanks to all the good people that keep the Mepis Community going. From the post on the Mepislovers forum, it sounds like the funds are coming in strong. Well deserved!

Fundraiser is over

Well, the amount raised was $1546.46 which is about £950. Details of how the funds were distributed can be found in this thread on Mepislovers. It was pretty amazing how quickly a fairly healthy sum built up!
