Well, my first refurbished PC has gone to it's new home at the Day Nursery my youngest son attends. It is going to be used for the children to do things on, so no doubt Gcompris and Tuxpaint will be getting some heavy usage. The staff seemed to be very pleased to be getting some 'new' equipment, so hopefully it'll be useful and I'll get some good feedback.
The only niggle was that Iomega Zip drive I mentioned in an earlier post/comment. I managed to figure out how to make it work but it ain't pretty! Still, I guess that will only be relevant if the staff there decide to use the machine in an office setting by which time I might have a more elegant solution...
