Pulse Audio Crashes

Additional Information: 

Some have reported pulse audio crashing. Current thinking is that it may be related to Input feedback sounds being enabled. Not yet verified. http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=39169

For those having the problem: 1. Disable input feedback sounds in System Settings>Appearance>Settings OR 2. Remove all bluetooth packages. EDIT: See Dolphin Oracle's next comment.

I believe the core problem here is root session management.  turns out we might not be starting pulseaudio corrently.  try this:

1. edit /usr/local/bin/pulse-start and change 
 

pulseaudio --start

to

start-pulseaudio-x11

 

change will take affect on logout/login

d_o's suggestion has been fixed in desktop-default-xfce package.

We just need confirmation that upgrading to the new deb is all that is needed.
