The MEPIS Community Artwork Project started in the Summer 0f 2007 with the goal of providing community-generated designs for possible use on the official MEPIS Linux 7.0 release. In early Autumn, donated server space and gallery software allowed the community to upload wallpaper, splash screen and logo designs. The Artwork Project concentrated on a subset of the submitted designs and with a lot of hard work generated a consistent look that MEPIS developer Warren Woodford accepted for the default MEPIS 7.0 desktop.
The Artwork Project Director is Utopia (Henry). The Gallery Admin is currently open, so if you're having trouble uploading or downloading designs there, please post on the Art Project forum
